Lite-On Technology (2301-tw) today reported November consolidated revenue of NT$21.34 billion, up 4% M-o-M and 13% Y-o-Y, hitting a second monthly record high in 2016. Thanks to stable market demand, cumulative sales from January to November totaled NT$208.15 billion, up 5% Y-o-Y.
     The Optoelectronics business segment contributed a 29% share of Lite-On’s overall revenue. Thanks to the growing demand from invisible LED, ongoing market share gains in LED components, smooth delivery of LED vehicle lighting, market expansion of street lighting, coupled with increased shipment of high-end camera module, the Optoelectronics posted revenue growth of over 30% Y-o-Y in November.
     The Information Technologies business accounted for 48% of sales with 7% yearly increase, of which, cloud computing products posted yearly growth, supported by shipment increase of high-end server and networking power management systems as well as high-end server enclosures. Meanwhile, the revenue growth was driven by ongoing market share gains in HIS (Human Input Solutions - PC Keyboards and Peripherals) and delivery growth in laser models of Multi-Function Peripherals.
     The Storage business segment accounted for 17% of sales with a yearly growth of approximately 30%, as a result of increasing end demand from cloud computing.
