Lite-On Technology (TW 2301) today reported August consolidated revenue of NT$19.19 billion, up 1% Y-o-Y and down 8% M-o-M. All core businesses showed steady consecutive growth, resulting from stable end-market demand. Lite-On’s cumulative consolidated revenue from January to August reached NT$150.23 billion, up 13% Y-o-Y.
      The Optoelectronics business segment contributed a 25% share of Lite-On’s overall revenue in August. Thanks to growing demand, LED Components and Lighting products presented a growth of approximately 20% Y-o-Y; Camera Module presented a growth of approximately 30% Y-o-Y, supported by high megapixel product expansion, as well as ongoing global market share gains of smartphoness and PCs, resulting in Optoelectronics business revenue as a whole growing by 23%. 
     The Information Technologies business segment accounted for 48% of total revenue with a growth of 9% Y-o-Y, of which power supplies posted a consecutive revenue growth, resulting from increases in global demand for server power management systems in cloud computing applications, mobiles devices, game consoles and PCs. Meanwhile, thanks to ongoing market share gains as well as the smooth delivery of tablet keyboards, HIS (Human Input Solutions - PC keyboards and peripherals) enjoyed a revenue growth of nearly 40% Y-o-Y, hitting a monthly revenue record high.
     Storage business accounted for 18% of August revenue, up 5% Y-o-Y, thanks to increased end demand, Solid State Drive (SSD) presented a revenue growth of 20% Y-o-Y while products for game console application posted a growth of over 50% Y-o-Y.
