Lite-On Technology (TW 2301) today reported June consolidated revenue of NT$20.24 billion with growths of 3% M-o-M and 18% Y-o-Y. All core businesses showed steady consecutive growth, resulting from increased end-market demand, coupled with ongoing market share gains. Cumulative consolidated revenue of Lite-On from January to June reached NT$110.24 billion, up 14% Y-o-Y.
Optoelectronics business segment contributed a 29% share of Lite-On’s overall revenue in June. Thanks to growing demand, LED Components and Lighting products presenting consecutive growth; Camera Module enjoyed a remarkable revenue growth of over 100% Y-o-Y, supported by high megapixel product expansion and smooth delivery, as well as ongoing gains in the global market shares of smartphoness and tablets, resulting in the whole Optoelectronics business revenue growth of 57%.
Information Technologies business segment accounted for 46% of the total revenue with growth of 23% Y-o-Y, of which power supplies revenue posted a growth of approximately 20% Y-o-Y, resulting from increases in global demand for server power management systems in cloud computing applications, mobiles devices, game consoles and PCs. Moreover, thanks to the delivery growth of its laser models, Multi-Function Peripherals presented a revenue expansion of 10% Y-o-Y; HIS (Human Input Solutions - PC keyboards and peripherals) enjoyed a revenue growth of over 20% Y-o-Y, driven by ongoing market share gains as well as the smooth delivery of tablet keyboards, while Enclosure posted a revenue growth of over 50% Y-o-Y driven by a shipment growth of high-end server enclosure products in June.
Storage business accounted for 17% of total revenue in June, and thanks to increased demand, coupled with ongoing market share gains, Solid State Drive (SSD) presented a revenue growth of over 50% Y-o-Y, while products for game console application presented a growth of approximately 10% Y-o-Y.
